How much is shipping?
Drop shipments for domestic customers $400.00 and over ship for free with UPS Ground. At this time, V-Twin does not provide shipping weights for their products to allow us to make the site completely automated. For domestic US orders, we charge only the actual shipping cost V-Twin charges us for the shipment. This can range from $10.00 for a smaller order, $15.00 to $20.00 for larger shipments, depending on the weight of the package. Oversized items such as tires, large rear fenders and complete exhaust systems can exceed $30.00 or more due UPS oversized rates depending on the dimensions of the box. 

We will typically authorize an average amount and once we capture the final amount, it will be the actual amount UPS shipping billed from V-Twin. We will provide a UPS tracking along with order number and your total amount for your order. 
 
International Shipping Rates?

Sorry, but we cannot quote international customers for shipping cost until the items are in stock packaged and weighed. We charge the customer first for the subtotal of the in stock items and order the them from V-Twin. Once the items are packaged and weighed, ready to ship, we will provide the customer with a shipping cost with USPS. We will have a shipping quote in 3 to 4 business days after your order is processed and the parts are ordered. We have some examples of International shipping costs on the shipping options page.

 
Is the item in stock?
Our database and online does not currently display whether or not the item is in stock. After an order is submitted, you will first receive an auto-generated email confirming your order. Once we receive your order, we will check stock with the V-Twin warehouse and you will receive a second email with an order number assigned to your order and stock status of items. If you order a single item that is on backorder, we will email you and let you know it's not in stock at this time. We do not bill customers for backorder items. See explanation for the backorder system below.
 
International shipments?
We primarily ship our international shipments with US Postal Priority Mail International or Express Mail International. We will also ship smaller parcels under 4 lbs with First Class International when specified. USPS rates are much more reasonable than UPS which we will use only if the customer requests UPS or Fedex International service. We do not ship with DHL.
 
Backorder items?
If you order an item that is not in stock from V-Twin, you will receive an email from us with the stock status. If the customer would like to add the item to the active backorder list, we will add the item to our list with V-Twin and keep you posted. We do not charge customers for backorder items. V-Twin does not give due dates on how long the item will be on backorder. We do not automatically process or ship orders after an item returns in stock. If we don't hear back from the customer to proceed and ship the item, the backorder will be cancelled and we will not process the order.
 
How quickly will my order be processed and shipped?

Domestic orders received before Noon Pacific Time Monday through Friday are processed promptly and V-Twin often ships these orders on the same day depending on the volume of shipments from the warehouse. If the order doesn't ship on the same day, it will be in transit with UPS the next business day.

International orders are shipped to us at Mas Classics first before they ship with US Postal Service. These shipments arrive here in about 3 business days. The V-Twin warehouse only ships with UPS and we do not do international drop shipments. We will provide our international customers with a USPS Priority Mail International shipping quote after we have your order in stock.
 
How quickly will I receive my order?
Domestic drop shipments can arrive in 1 to 4 business days with UPS Ground, depending on the customer's proximity to the warehouse. For International delivery times, see below.
 
Standard or Drop shipments?
Small orders under $20.00 can ship with First Class Mail. Orders over $20.00 are normally processed as drop shipments for domestic customers. Domestic dropship orders over $400 include free UPS Ground shipping to the continental 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii orders are shipped with USPS Priority Mail and delivery times are usually around a week.
 
Returns & defective items?
V-Twin requires all returns to include a Return Authorization before they are returned to V-Twin's Warranty & Return Center. We have to request a RA number and will email customer the information and the return shipping address. They must be returned post paid with either UPS or Fedex ground and the RA number must be marked on the outside of the package. They do not allow USPS returns. If the item is not a defective item returned for warranty replacement, they charge 20% restocking fee when they receive and credit our dealer account for the return. V-Twin does not give cash refunds on returns.
 
US Postal Service International package size limitations?
Many countries have a 108 maximum combined length and girth limit with US Postal for Priority Mail or Express Mail shipments. A few countries such as Australia & Thailand have limits of 79 inches overall combined length & girth. The only options in this case is to either ship in smaller boxes when possible under the limit or ship with USPS GXG Global Express Guaranteed which costs about double the price of Express Mail International.
 
Where does my order ship from?
The V-Twin warehouse is located in St. Joseph Missouri and all of our orders ship from this warehouse Monday through Friday.
 
Estimated delivery of international shipments?
International shipments typically have an average delivery time of 10 days to 2 weeks, depending on foreign customs and final delivery. We bill the international customer's credit card for the subtotal of the order first and order the items from V-Twin. In about 3 business days, we will email the customer with shipping options and then charge the card for the shipping cost and then ship the order out and provide a tracking number at that time.
